If the Spirit of God has stirred you, make as many of your decisions as possible irrevocable, and let the consequences be what they will.
But we must obey the light we received there; we must put it into action. When God gives us a vision, we must transact business with Him at that point, no matter what the cost.
We cannot kindle when we will The fire which in the heart resides, The spirit bloweth and is still, In mystery our soul abides; But tasks in hours of insight willed Can be through hours of gloom fulfilled.

Yet the implications of such soil is clear in our obligation even after it is tainted. This dust is the same from which we came. We have an essential connection with it, as God has so defined.
God Himself would breath into it to form man, and then later, we see Jesus spit upon a pack of it, and mash it with His fingers and smear it upon the empty eyes of a man to give new sight.
Life needs to sprout from the land. We are called to bring forth fruit from it. We are called to sustain life in it, and for this we must be utterly attentive.
Such must not be looked upon as just dirt. This is the place of delight for us, but most certainly for God as well.
He loves for us to draw out that which exalts Him from the lesser dust. Later we shall learn to take our shoes off for such a meeting ground.
For most of the time until then, it has meant toil, but even drudgery is meant to be transformed into pleasure.
The word has also the sense of worship. It cannot be detached from God if it is to be done rightly, and thus our first pursuit must be Him in it.
He adds the essential. Repentance means just this, to turn to Him in all our grime. He gets to draw out something unimaginably beautiful from our needy estate.
Perhaps He will in turn have us extend His hands to bring about such work in some other soil-stained life.
Most certainly we will see wonders in this garden of want and of hope. There is hope that goes beyond. Our job is to go to Him.
But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. Think of every good thing your heart desires.
Remember all your dreams which have had to die because of the twists and turns of life. Recall all the disappointments you have had to endure, things which, if you could, you would love to have the opportunity to do over again.
Bring back to mind the fading glory of youth with its eternal optimism and how you would love, for just a day, to experience it once again.
Sort through your special memories, the ones which bring a smile to your face, and think of the joy of being there again, with that person, with that friend, with that loved one, in that special place.
If all of this could be rectified, if all of this could be restored, changed, given to you afresh; it would never even scratch the surface of what God has prepared for you when you live in His presence!
Your wildest fantasies of beautiful and lovely things poured out upon you are paltry, compared to what the Lord is truly going to bestow upon you!
But, there is this: though your heart cannot dream up what God is preparing for you, your spirit, which has been born again in Him, senses the glory that is to come.
His Spirit dwelling in you, speaks on a moment by moment basis, of His wonders, of His love, of His care, of His mercy, of His grace and ultimately, of our destination as pilgrims in this world: our eternal home with the Lord.
Believe in God. Believe also in me. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.
Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.
Think about it for a moment. God wants to talk things over with you. He wants the two of you, to put your heads together, sit down and figure things out.
The first thing He wants to talk about, is sin. He knows it will make you squirm inside, to have to sit there with Him and examine your sin, so, He immediately gives you good news, a positive spin at the start of the conversation.
He says:. Your ears perk up at that! All I ask of you is that you are willing to receive my gift of mercy and grace, and then, I ask that what I have given to you, you in turn, give away to others.
Never fear, I will give you a limitless supply. In fact, it will be like a fountain or a river springing up in your heart and flowing out to all who are in need of it.
If you are not, I must warn you, that refusing my love and rebelling against my grace leaves only judgement between you and I.
Thank you for such a glorious opportunity to live because of your love, and to be able to love others with the same love with which you loved me.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor.
He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire. I mention that, because I am probably doomed to repeat myself occasionally in New posts!
This is a scripture, in which the Lord poured out a revelation to me as I was reading it many years ago.
Here is the definition from the dictionary:. Revelation: Something revealed, especially a dramatic disclosure of something not previously known or realized.
When the Holy Spirit shared with me the meaning of this scripture my spirit leaped with joy! I had heard it taught many times that the wheat are the Christians and that the chaff are the unbelievers.
Jesus will gather the Christians to heaven and the unbelievers will burn in the lake of fire. This is not the meaning, however, in this particular verse.
As we read it we are given the understanding from John, that Jesus will purify the believer through the Holy Spirit and with fire.
This process is compared to winnowing wheat. Wheat, when harvested, has an outer shell that contains the living grain.
In order for the grain to be released from the shell it must be winnowed. This process is done by repeatedly casting the wheat up and down with a fork to break the hard shell and allow it to fall from the wheat.
When the process is complete, the winnower gathers the living grain and stores it and then burns the worthless chaff in the fire. The Lord revealed clearly to me, that the wheat and the chaff are my born again spirit and my flesh the old nature, or old man.
The two are part of one another. Jesus is making the promise that, by the Holy Spirit, He will sanctify us and purify us! It is His work! When He is finished with this work in our lives, He will gather us together to live eternally with Him.
A wonderful part of this promise is that the Lord will utterly consume our flesh the chaff , and we will no longer bear its hard, dead, restricting presence in our lives!
I wish to share the following updates with all of you for two reasons: The first, is to honor and glorify my Lord, my Savior, my friend and my brother; the Lord Jesus Christ.
The second is to give thanks and praise for all of the love, support and prayers that have flooded my life; really, the life of Nancy, my children and I.
Each and every one of you are precious to us. Your cards, your texts, your emails, your visits and, most importantly, your prayers, are valued beyond my ability to express.
I have received one cycle of Chemotherapy treatment, which is four weeks of one treatment a week. I have five more cycles to complete, which is five months, or 20 weekly treatments.
My Oncologist met with me after the first cycle and expressed his optimistic view of the results. My values, determined through weekly blood tests, showed significant progress against the disease afflicting my body.
To describe it simply: the bad cancerous cells are being eliminated faster than expected at this stage of the Chemotherapy.
Good news indeed! Thank you so much for all of your love and prayers! Please know that we are, in turn, praying for all of you, that God would bless each of you abundantly, in that which you need and desire.
